Abstract:
As 'villages in the city', although urban villages save human capital for urban development, they also limit the overall modernization of cities and pose a major problem for urban governance. Taking the urban village renovation in Qingdao as an example, this paper establishes a 'goal-subject-means-content-effect' governance framework and compares the effectiveness of governance under different modes. By summarizing experiences and problems, the path of 'optimizing governance structure-regional balance-sustainable operation' is proposed, providing analysis aspects and approaches for megacities in China.
