Abstract: With the in-depth implementation of the rural revitalization strategy and the upgrading of rural consumer demand, improving the quality of housing has become the primary choice for rural residents, which has simultaneously brought new problems and new requirements in the construction and management of rural housing. Based on the in-depth investigation of the pilot rural housing construction in Hubei Province, this paper comprehensively summarizes the achievements of rural housing construction, studies and judges the problems existing in the aspects of planning and coordination, design and promotion, factor guarantee, policy support, and implementation mechanism of rural housing construction, and puts forward specific suggestions and measures from the aspects of value recognition of planning, design, construction, and management. It provides decision-making reference for governments at all levels to formulate management plans for rural housing construction that meet the regional characteristics and the needs of the times.
