Abstract: Suburban integration style' villages are important spatial carriers to promote the two-way flow of urban and rural elements. Under the new era background, the theoretical basis and strategies of the practical village planning of 'suburban integration style' need to be further studied and deepened. Firstly, the paper analyzes the four problems in the planning of practical village of 'suburban integration style' of cognition level, standard level, implementation level and organization level. Furthermore, based on the suboptimal theory of economics, the paper puts forward the path selection of planning to maximize practical efficiency from the perspective of implementation effectiveness and resource combination comparison. Finally, the paper analyzes the resource situation and development problems of Xibeili Village in Jiexiu City, Shanxi Province, then combines with the practical village planning practice of Xibeili Village to put forward the suboptimal selection strategies of planning from four aspects: resource identification, stock clarity, emphasis proliferation and multiple security. It is expected to provide references for other practical village planning of 'suburban integration style'.
