Abstract:
The development of digital technology has provided a new technical means for the conservation and restoration of architectural heritage. Built during the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty, the wooden carving building in Lu Village in Yi County, Huangshan City, Anhui Province with its grand scale and exquisite carvings, enjoys the reputation of being the 'folk temple of wood carving art' and 'the first building of wood carving in China'. Based on three-dimensional information mapping and site investigation, the article constructs a three-dimensional information model of the wooden carving building ancient architecture group, and builds a digital technology strategy for the protection and restoration of the wooden carving building from three aspects: group combination, single space, and decorative art, which provides basic data and technical support for the later protection and restoration of the wooden carving building.
