Abstract: Ecological reserves are enhancing their hematopoietic capacity as constant efforts are invested in establishing the ecological compensation mechanism. Relevant counties and cities are turning to feasible path of integrating the mechanism and urban development, thus achieving a win-win situation of urban social and economic advance and ecological civilization outcomes. Through local investigation and department interviews, we can understand the development characteristics and restrictive conditions of the ecological industry in Gongshan Dulong Nu Autonomous County in Nujiang Lisu Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, and consult relevant documents to find the convergence point between the industrial development and ecological security under the concept of ecological compensation. In that case, innovating the ecological compensation mechanism and pointing out a healthy development path for ecological industry are key to resolve the contradiction between current social and economic development and ecological civilization construction, and is efficacious to boost the sound and sustainable urban development.
