Abstract: Rural residential environment improvement action is an significant move of implementing National Rural Revitalization Strategy, which is systematic and long-term. At present, rural residential environment improvement action could be divided into three modes, which are ‘standardized construction’, ‘rural building construction’ and ‘co-working’. Although these methods have their own advantages, there would be some common issues such as lack of identity, huge investment, and long construction cycle. This paper takes National Rural Revitalization Strategic Plan as guide, working from a regional perspective, focusing on the shortcomings of 18 villages in the Provincial Rural Revitalization Demonstration Zone of Dengzhuang Town. By having a targeted strategies from industry, ecology, culture, facility, and management aspects, this paper tried to strengthen overall regional planning and deepening implementation of the detailed design, to explore methods of rural residential environment improvement.
