Abstract:
As a space carrier that undertakes many activities such as villagers' communication, entertainment, and administration, the village public space is an important starting point for the transformation of rural space in the future. At present, the research on the public space of villages mostly stays in the qualitative analysis of its individual attributes, but the identification of its system characteristics through quantitative research will help to clarify the internal relations of the village public space and reshape the village public space system. This paper uses social network analysis methods to select nine indicators of network density, network relevance, small-world characteristics, small-world quotient, faction, central position, centrality, structural holes and structural equivalence, and then construct the village public space network structure, the analysis framework is to quantitatively analyze the structural characteristics of the public space network from two aspects:overall characteristics and node relationships. The results show that the public space network structure of Chenwangsan Village, South Town, Xingping City, Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province, is loose, with strong integrity and weak connectivity; the nodes in the network are different but mutually replaceable and lack core nodes. Furthermore, four suggestions for optimizing nodes, enriching the network, deepening connections, and improving management are put forward, in order to provide a certain reference for the construction of the village's public space network..
