Abstract:
The development model of characteristic industries is of great significance to help small towns getting rid of the dilemma of convergence and realizing industrial revitalization in rural areas. Exploring the spatial characteristics of cities and towns of different industry types and their influence mechanisms has important practices for consolidating and deepening the achievements of rural revitalization and finally reaching the road of mutual wealth. Based on the beautiful towns of Zhejiang Province as the research object, using the combination of qualitative and quantitative method, it analyzes spatial heterogeneity and influence factors of 6 types of towns that are urban nodes, county deputy center, industrial characteristics, business characteristics, agricultural characteristics, culture tourism characteristics, and the results show as follow. First, the urban node-type small towns are spatially clustered, and the other types of towns are randomly distributed and have a tendency to agglomerate. Second, there are differences in the core density centers of the six types of small towns. The small towns with agricultural characteristics and cultural tourism characteristics are distributed in bands, and the rest of the types have density cores in Hang-Jia-Hu in northern Zhejiang, Yong-Tai-Wen in eastern Zhejiang, and Jinhua in central Zhejiang. Third, the fractal characteristics affecting different types of small towns are significant. Population vitality and the urbanization rate affect the development potential of small towns. Topography, industrial structure and landscape resources are the main factors affecting the distribution of small towns.
